Grit Strip Metal Stair Nosings are designed for the modernization and restoration of all types of stairs as well as new construction, while also providing excellent anti-slip protection on concrete, wood and metal stairways, especially in wet conditions. Grit Strip Metal Stair Nosings provide a fast and economical alternative to removal and reconstruction of a stairway.
• These high-strength metal stair nosings offer unmatched slip resistance, unsurpassed durability and an eye-catching design and are ideal for use in the most heavily used indoor and outdoor stairways.
• Diamond hard, aluminum oxide abrasives are combined with polymeric binders and bonded to heat-treated aluminum to form the most rugged indoor/outdoor metal stair nosings.

Nose: 3/8" or 1-1/8" Tapered square design
Depths: 1-7/8", 3" and 4"
Federal Specs: RR-T-650E
Flame Spread Rating of 75 or less using ASTM-E-84 Test
Treads can be supplied with two countersunk holes every 12" for screwdown installation, or without holes for installation with Neoprene Contact Cement.
NOTE: Use our leveling compound to fill worn steps before installing these Grit Strip stair nosings. When using on wood, specify that these metal nosings should be sealed at the factory. Also, note that there is a 5-nosing minimum for 96"+ wide nosings.
